Qatar

Qatar is a country located in the Middle East in Western Asia geo-speaking, occupying the small Qatar Peninsula on the northeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. Its sole land border is with neighboring  Saudi Arabia to the south, with the rest of its territory surrounded by the Persian Gulf. The Gulf of Bahrain, an inlet of the Persian Gulf, separates the country from nearby Bahrain. Qatar is also well-known for one of the world´s leading airlines Qatar Airlines, which is surely known for its exquisite services in the sky. The airline was established in 1993 and remains owned and controlled by the government. The main hub is Hamad International Airport, more commonly known as Doha (DOH). From here, Qatar Airways offers a broad selection of routes to more than 150 destinations on all 6 continents except the South Pole.

Doha

Doha is the capital and most populous city. Doha has a population of 1,850,000 in the city with the population in bigger Doha close to 2.4 million. The city is located on the coast of the Persian Gulf in the east of the country. It is the country´s fastest-growing city, with over 80% of the nation’s population living in Doha or its surrounding suburbs, and it is also the economic center of the country.
